Summary

IT Device/Site Support Technician provides technical assistance to staff and patients for the Digital Health devices, Rounding iPods, Attendance Tracking and general computer issues. RCA’s IT Device/Site Support Technician answers questions or resolves device/computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to Digital Health device/software issues
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Tracks, routes and redirects problems to correct resources
  • Walks customers through problem-solving process
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Utilizes excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
  • Ensures proper recording, documentation and closure
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements
  • Identify problems, involve others in seeking solutions, conduct appropriate analysis, search for best solutions; respond quickly to new challenges

Education & Experience

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ working experience in providing help desk support
  • Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
